Another night of leftovers! But I do love spaghetti bolognese, so there wasn’t really much to complain about.

Lunch
Time: 14:31
Date: Thursday, March 29
Location: London Flat
Contrary to popular belief, I’m not that fussy when it comes to food. The only thing I really can’t eat is shellfish. So I’m eating my leftovers from the previous day and it actually tastes better because all the herbs have marinated overnight. I know that’s not how cooking is really supposed to be…oh well…

Lunch
Time: 16:52
Date: Wednesday, March 28
Location: London flat
I made spaghetti bolognese for lunch. My pasta is always cooked al dente! I don’t know why some Americans make their pasta too soft and soggy. Gross.

Dinner
Time: 20:37
Date: Friday, March 16
Location: London flat
Our friend, S, came over for to the flat. My flatmate had eaten, so I made dinner for our friend, S, instead. I made spaghetti (al dente) with tomato basil sauce and steamed vegetables. S brought a chocolate cheesecake from M&S.

Dinner
Time: 20:16 (GMT +8)
Date: Tuesday, February 21
Location: Kenny Roger’s Roasters, Robinsons Mall, Malate, Manila
After the eating binge at the buffet, I just wanted something simple. My parents and I practically lived in this mall during our stay in Manila. I didn’t really want to eat chicken at ‘Kenny Roger’s Roasters’, although that was there specialty. This is ‘Filipino spaghetti’ because it’s laced with hot dogs instead of sausages, that’s what makes it uniquely Filipino. It’s also sweet and it was served with corn bread, suberbly delicious corn bread!

Dinner
Time: 20:30 (GMT 8+)
Date: Saturday, February 11
Location: Malabon, Metro Manila, Philippines
Description: I didn’t think I’d end up in Malabon, Manila today. This is my ‘home town.’ But there was a pressing matter that needed tending to and I picked up random food along the way. The main thing I picked up is ‘Jollibee’ spaghetti, complete with hot dogs. Additionally there was food at my aunt’s house including ‘puto’ or rice cakes and ‘sopas’ a Filipino soup made with macaroni and a broth infused with milk. It was a very random night, food and family wise.
