Honest Burger Restaurant Review
This place has great burgers, which they say is ‘inspired by Great British produce.’ I agree!
.
Everything is locally sourced and it tastes homemade.
The venue doesn’t take reservations, they have a queuing system where you leave your name with the lovely host and they give you a call when your table is ready. In the meantime, there’s tons of nearby places where you can go for a drink. Luckily we didn’t have to wait long (this is a rare occurrence, normally the wait is 30-40 minutes long).
I ordered the house made lemonade (check out the fun, green stripey straw!) and my flatmate ordered the local brew from Hackney!

Meet Geoff everyone! He’s enjoying the evening’s special burger with apple and black pudding.

Here’s my burger, cooked medium with dry aged beef, red onion relish, and Stilton cheese. Together the relish and the cheese worked really well, so well it almost brought tears to my eyes. The house chips are seasoned with rosemary salt. Such a medley of flavours made my taste buds do a little dance!

Lastly, there’s me about to devour my Honest Burger! I must thank Geoff for introducing me to this place, it’s just beautiful.

Go forth everyone and try an Honest Burger, it’s honestly amazing. I’m sure they’re getting tired of the honest puns by now. But they won’t tire of making brilliant, ‘dia-licious’ burgers anytime soon.
